Soliloquoy At Shoal Bay NSW




 Cinquain

at last
i've reached the coast
safe journey well done girl 
a swan and a red boat greet me
hi there

lovely
time for a swim
flying fish everywhere
now i know why it's called shoal bay
oops shark





small one
not to worry
it prefers fish to me
that is what i am presuming
at least

small shark
its mum's somewhere
usually close by
c'mon girly do not tempt fate
get out

  3. I love the two very different types of boat. Adding the shark lent an element of urgency to the peaceful scene.

  6. Ah, one should not mess with sharks- either in the ocean OR on land. It is on land that the sharks are most dangerous, I fear.
