Summer is hurting, he is burning Snow on the ground stew in the pot Trouble seasons late turning Winter is on the spot Nice Nonat, Rall. For a moment o let it carry me away. ..
I blame it on the government, they are the ones who are happy to chop down the forests, kill the wildlife on land and in the seas, and dig for coal and drill for oil and still think it won't affect the climate. At least we got a little rain; hope you did as well in the east.
I love this explanation for what's been so puzzling! Winter forgot his appointment, decided to turn up now like a forgetful octogenarian, pushing past accommodating spring without any thanks.
No worries, just U.S. greed hanging on to summer again ;-) We had such a long sweet slow cool summer here; no real heat wave till September. Some June-July flowers waited for that heat wave to bloom and are blooming now. You can have summer as soon as we're done with it. LOL
(Reading Internet posts from other places always makes me wish people *could* just tell weather to distribute itself fairly.)
I love those opening lines, Rall!

ReplyDeleteOh I so agree with Robin! And enjoyed your write even while grimacing wryly at the content.
ReplyDeleteSummer has the sulks! Love that. Not so much the crazy weather, not good at all.
