Christmas Wordle - Sunday's Whirligig # 193

THIS WEEK'S WORDS come from "Christmas Trees" by Robert Frost: foliage, coats, city, look, spires, balsams, bare, refuse, cut, boughs, Christmas, letter

last minute christmas shoppers in fur coats and woolly hats
refuse to be daunted by the crowds
the city looks beautiful with its church spires
coloured lights twinkle in  the bare branches of trees
hanging baskets of balsams foliage and cut boughs of holly
decorate the shops with large red letters painted on the windows

  2. I'm a coward when it comes to braving the crowds, but... I completely agree, the colors and lights and all around joy can be such a treat.

    Happiest Holidays, Rall!
