you've aged
so have i
it's been a long time
since i could fit into a red riding hood outfit
i never wore red again after that
youve lost your teeth i see
not scary at all to little girls anymore
bugger off before i belt you
with my rolled up newspaper
Aging and the myriad changes are inevitable... she should find that costume, alter it, parade proudly down the park path!
ReplyDeleteNowadays my old-woman-teeth are scarier than the wolf's. LOL. I enjoyed this, it gave me a chuckle.
ReplyDeleteAh, a sequel - nice one.
ReplyDeleteAge changes many things for sure. Love your take on the image Rall!
ReplyDeleteAging wolfs aren't so scary any more, and little red riding "goods" not so vulnerable. I love this!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Nice!
ReplyDeleteWe had a very similar interpretation of this image. I like the idea that it is now the woman who has the teeth. She's gained experience and the wolf has just gotten old.
ReplyDeleteHahaha! Bad dog! Good write!
ReplyDeleteHit the wolf! Love it!
ReplyDeleteHaha! So they meet again! I see she's grown more assertive with age. Good to see you, Rall.
ReplyDeleteWolves have had a bad press whilst old women get away with anything. I'm with Wolfy!
