a small boat
in the stormy sea
springs a leak

 two people
stranded in the vast ocean
alone together

he makes holes
she makes an attempt
to fill them

it will sink
it's just a matter of time
before they both drown

    alone together - that is a sad image as the togetherness is so distant.
