there was only one horse
the big one
took ages to make
we were counting on
their greed and stupidity
it was very cramped in there
high summer and soldiers feet
not an ideal combination
when they hauled us in through the gates
we knew victory was ours
happened thousands of years ago
and they are still telling everyone
to beware of us bearing gifts
Sore Losers !

haha! I like your refashioning of an ancient story.
ReplyDeleteHa, this made me smile. So nice to read you, Rall. I have been distracted by moving into seniors' housing, and am just emerging from a plethora of boxes. LOL.
