Whirligig # 377

THIS WEEK'S WORDS come from "The Peach" by Alice Friman: peach, sticky, sky, know, juice, corner, earth, numb, orange, ice, tend, disappear

 Paul Kelly Canadian Artist

she just wanted to disappear

numb herself to the pain

so she ran away

she'll drink orange juice

sip iced tea

eat sticky date pudding

go to the beach

enjoy the blue sky

explore the four corners of the earth

she knows she'll be OK

beautiful gals who look like a ripe peach

tend to land on their feet

  3. I'm thinking of the squash of a peach. Seems anything can happen.

  4. Oh, it is easier them them! Or, not. I guess it's easier, but at what cost to their independence and even self-esteem?

  7. Whenever I hear of people (okay, women) looking like peaches I always picture someone else taking a bite. Not sure why. But it always makes me shudder.
