Wordle #307
Tomorrow is International Zebra Day, a day to bring awareness to zebras, their living conditions, and how the three remaining types in the wild can be protected. One type, Grèvy’s is endangered, its numbers rapidly lessening due to poaching for their pelts. More than 54% of its total population has been lost.

That's wonderful! No, they aren't in the same class a a cuddly koala. However, I've seen pictures of those koala claws, so maybe they aren't so cuddly, they just look like they would be. "grandiose creep" is a great description of some people!
ReplyDeleteIt's truly horrible when animals are threatened just to serve some perverse pleasure. Thanks for writing about this.
ReplyDeleteWho knew we humans threaten ourselves with extinction killing everything we can. May the zebra angels reap human pelt.
ReplyDeleteHumans are proving to be the lethal aberration on this planet, and soon nature will correct . Excellent write Rall. 🙂✌🏼❣️
ReplyDeleteThanks for speaking up for the zebra. The description of who might want a zebra pelt is very apt.
ReplyDeleteA grandiose creep indeed. There is no valid reason for a person living in modern society to display an animal pelt. Excellent fakes are quite easy enough to find.
