SUNDAY MUSE #259

 she remembers the feeling

dim now and decades ago

swinging from the chandeliers

didn't happen often

but sheer joy when it did

they walk on by

going from a to b

the never ending rush

to be somewhere

the empty modern life

from which few escape

the only one who gives some

recognition is the hairdresser

who wonders where

she got her colour done
