POETRY WITH PICS
starting out
poor as a church mouse
trips to thrift shops
garage sales
nothing's changed
hard to remove
the hippy
out of an old gal
spick and span....no
geraniums and a a cat
a warm home....yes
creative kids
become
creative adults
in short supply at the moment
we need them
an english man's home
is his castle
even if he can only afford
a cardboard one
he promised
he would give her
the sun the moon and the stars
he is italian of course

I'm definitely with you re the geranium, the cats, and still buying from thrift shops.
ReplyDeleteI'm all for a massive Hippie return. But this won't happen, too many Yuppies now. Did you have an AI device write this? It is wild!!
ReplyDelete..
There will never be an A1 device that can out- wild an Aussie sheila like me Jim !:)
DeleteCreative kids becoming creative adults has the ring of truth to it, although it is never too late to stimulate the imagination.
ReplyDeleteThrifting can be a lot of fun, especially when you find that one perfect thing you didn't know you wanted. :D
ReplyDeleteWonderful vignettes ..... You may have anything of mine you like, of course. (I feel wonderful when friends and strangers compliment my boho hippy garb.)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful glimmers I assume it is your place on the photos it looks amazing! The cardboard castle is pretty clever
ReplyDeleteSecond photo is mine. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI love thrifting. Things that are well loved. Your home must glimmer with your sparkling personality.
