a glamorous gran
beautiful and elegant
what is her secret
fantasy
not realistic
life is not
quite like that
when people are involved there
are always problems
granny
has a rambling garden
her dog named sniffer
loves it too
lately
he has been behaving
strangely
his eyes have turned pale blue
her painting sings
like the ripples of her flute
a beautiful mind
does not need feeding
does not need brushing
just a big cuddle cat
to match
her lovely new jacket
puss has taken up residence
in the bathroom sink
why?
because he can
birds of a feather
a collage of famous artists
flocked together

Oh I do love tabby cats! (How come the knitted one has such an alive glare?)
ReplyDeleteNice The painting is gorgeous and I love that woolen cat and granny.
ReplyDeleteNice flute imagery! Paintings certainly can have ripple effects like a tune carried on a wave.
ReplyDeleteAh yes, my dear Rall! Playing "I Spy" this morning .. a most pleasurable endeavor.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I meant to comment on the plants which the dog is peeking through. It looks like Hemp to me, does she smoke the weed harvest? They grew up wild on our farm where I grew up. I smoked some other wild weeds but not the Hemp. My mother told me that "only the folks in New York smoke those. Besides these aren't the good stuff."
ReplyDelete..
Lovely collection. Favourite pharmacy hit home :-(
ReplyDeleteGrandmothers are wonderful. And grandmothers with gardens and pups are extra magical. Love the last image, and the words.
ReplyDeleteLove that knitted cat!
