the drizzling rain goes
on and on without respite
never seems to end
this year brings a very wet autumn
heralding a bleak winter
northern hemisphere
now is the month of maying
sunshine and blossoms
the king singers in pink ties
express the seasonal joy

"the month of maying" - says so much, Rall. Very clever.
ReplyDeleteMaying is a new verb for me. I love it. I hope you enjoy the rains. I know our earth over here in the desert need those drops. :)
ReplyDeletepolar opposites in words and manifestation. the maying song is very uplifting and sounds as a hymn
ReplyDeleteThis is so May and the music gives it the medieval touch that Maying evokes to me 💜
ReplyDeleteHow lovely Rall. The one with the month of Maying is most spectacular. If only it was always May for Maying away the year. Aww. Enjoyed your poems. Xo, Selma Martin.
