in the war

his job

was to read letters

to the soldiers

who were illiterate

he said

the dear john ones

were the worse

the war

 wasn't  only bullets

  6. Letters sent home from a battlefield, must surely be the most difficult to read and to respond to.
    Conditions are beyond belief for those who took a few moments to think of those who were far away..very powerful topic..
