I love all the pics, hats, styles and of course the words. 'You wear it well.' 👍
ReplyDeleteI love your exciting and fond memories of your youth and adventures- and how wonderful you look then and now - Jae
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the outfit in the first photo - my kinda clothing, though I can never find it........I'm with you on the alterative lifestyle journey. LOVE all the photos, such a fun journey made! I am glad to have lived through the 60's and 70's too - when we dreamed we would change the world, and peace and love was in the air we breathed.
ReplyDeleteOh me too, Rall, always a hippy chick at heart, but not a hat wearer. I love the photos and the poem! I agree about being fortunate to experience youth in the 60s and 70s.
ReplyDeleteThis was fun to read, Rall. Enjoyed your memories and pix! Interesting how so many of us still have our fantasies about that hippie life! There was something about that time.
ReplyDeleteOh yes hippy time Love it but just missed it as I was still a child in that time. Love your hats You look really cool! Oh that bohemian colourful photo is just gorgeous. Also love good old Rod Stewart
ReplyDeleteI had to have a chuckle, Rall. As we get older we tend to sacrifice making a fashion statement for the sake of practicality. However, you manage to do both in later life! I like all the hats!
ReplyDeleteLiking this, Sherry. I liked the Hippie days too. My hair was below my collar, I rode a motorcycle and listened to the local music in the park. Some went big time. And I had gone back college again.
ReplyDelete"you wear it well" I loved those days of feeling free and immortal.
