START WHERE YOU ARE
Where I'm at? Not a good place at the moment
USE WHAT YOU HAVE
I have a poem that I wrote which hopefully brings a smile
DO WHAT YOU CAN
to bring a little cheer .
it is... but they are referring to the weather !
My world like the real one is not a fun place at the moment
they strum their guitars
all day and all through the night
keeping us awake
we are allergic
to caterwauling folk songs
tis a cat's nightmare
to caterwauling folk songs
tis a cat's nightmare

🤣 👏
ReplyDeleteRall this is so funny I love it. Thank you so much I really needed a smile 💜💜💜💜
ReplyDeleteSo funny - and such a great image 🤣
ReplyDeleteI had to look up caterwauling and wonder why it didn't end with wailing. I felt the irritation and also the playfulness about it.
ReplyDeleteBwahahahahaha. Cats often have rather strong opinions on things.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry the here and now are not a good place for you Rall - your poems shine and raised a smile too - jae
ReplyDeleteThanks Jae,,,Rall
ReplyDeleteYes, this brought me a smile. I hope you also brought yourself a little cheer in the writing, choosing the pics, and sharing. May the place where you find yourself at present improve rapidly!
ReplyDeleteYour work in my book is always great. No apologies needed. Cats are ignorant about good and bad poetry as am I.
ReplyDeletethat cat looks tormented....
ReplyDeleteIt did bring smiles that lasted for a long time
ReplyDeleteWish I could send you some of our rain - it has been raininbg all day today!
ReplyDeleteFun verse. I'm petless, but I have cats I can visit. One of them caterwalls with such an awful sound - but given that he is close to 17 years old we cut him some slack. :)
LOL! Great poem, Rall!
