I find it is much more productive not to carry old relationships into new ones.
It's not easy, but best to move on if possible.
Rall - you capture that "tug-of-war" between the external mask of indifference and the internal reality of heartache so well 🙌
It seems few of us can escape it.
Oh well written the pull between love and indifference
Tears while bearing no grudge meant true love but lost to me.
I am sort of glad there is always a safe a pace - a place to keep us gently alive and aight inside! Jae Rose
if tears were't able to carry away the pain downstream then was it even worth to spend those tears ...

I felt this poem in my bones, Rall. The only way out is through... Thanks for participating this week! Yvette M Calleiro :-) http://yvettemcalleiro.blogspot.com
Wow! This is amazing, Rall. As Yvette says, "the only way out is through!" 💟
Rall, yes it is worth the pain .. moving thru as Colleen has said, otherwise we stay stuck forever.
It can be painful, but remember the fact that you knew love.
