  2. Don't know how you did that so seemlessly (did I spell that right?). This little poem is funny as hell and totally met the challenge.

  3. Thankyou Stan and Robin. Wordles (random words) are my favourite challenge. I had a wordle competition on my blog just recently .It was a lot of fun.Hope you are both going to join in the next one.

  5. Hi Rall,

I'm surprised Red Talons had the strength to massage if she's "built like a limp marionette" but may be the whistling helps! No wonder your uncle and his mates get themselves into such pickles.

  7. Loved your poem "Uncle And His Mates Go Camping." (BTW, I've sent that greeting card!). I had to google durian: Durian Fruit can best be described as having a succulent, creamy filling but smelling like stinky socks. That's a wonderful choice and I love learning new words!!! Well done!

  8. You know how to whistle Derrick
You just put your lips together and blow

I think these lines come from an old movie

  9. We received that card today so I built the poem around it! Glad you enjoyed it Marianne.

  10. To Have And Have Not. Rather like having your cake and eating it! And that beer rub's good stuff. You should try it.

  12. Nicely put together - very clever indeed. I knew what durian is - read that somewhere it is forbidden for patrons to eat it inside the establishment. I envy how well you wove this together with such brevity and sharpness.

  13. Good choice on the durian. I enjoyed this!

  14. That was quite an oversight by the boys. This is great fun. I'm fondest of the word prompts too. The unusual combos generate some ripping tales.
