FOR THE WEEKEND

I love driving to this. A tad too fast rendition. Tempi is always too fast these days. Rallentando everyone!

Driving Down New South Head Road

Off I go
Roof down
Haydn On
weaving down the affluent trail
to Double Bay

Sail boats bob on the harbour

Through leafy William St
up the fig tree hill to St Marks
down the slippery dip road to
Rushcutters Bay
home of the marina and cruising yacht club

Serious sail boats bob on the harbour

If you see a sheila
wearing white wrap around sunglasses
and a wide grin
driving a black SAAB convertible
roof down
taking this route
playing Haydn
WAVE
c'est moi

  1. Good God, woman, are there no laws there limiting excessive fun? I should hope not (there are plenty of them here). You've described a fantastic scene to tempt all of us here in the cold, other hemisphere.

  2. Reverend Fred Nile was not successful in his bid
to ban topless sunbathing...Aussie males are pleased. We like it au naturel here Black Douglas! It's the hot weather..that is our excuse.I have heard about some of your laws in the more backward states.Very scary!Glad you like the prompt...should be a bit of a giggle..I'm attempting to write a Shakespearean giggler...challenging!
