Haiku Heights

luxury does not
fill the infinite abyss
devoid of love

shrouds have no pockets
true,money makes friends
until you lose it

love is elusive
found in true romance novels
rarely in real life

satan  creeps along
disguised as golden sunshine
hiding dark rain clouds

raining on my life
a wet soggy mackintosh
in need of fierce heat

true friendship like heat
emanates from the sun with
warmth loyalty love

  5. As others said, the last stanza rings so true for me - someone who has had trouble finding a true friend, but now has succeeded! Lovely wording throughout....

  6. I love the second one... when money starts to define your friendship and relationship... then you know what you should do...
