Haiku Heights

everyone would like
a soul mate in this short life
the search is too hard

my soul mate can now
drop into my lap i'm not
looking anymore

food for the soul
is music art and nature
the Divine's shadow

he was an odd soul
simultaneously cruel
kind and loving

the hands joined in prayer
pious at the church altar
black souls doomed to hell

  2. I do not do interesting relationships anymore. I will only settle for something wonderfully sympatico now.

  3. The first set sounded funny... it's the story of my life. lol

The other three haiku were interesting in themselves. Keep writing and give us more to read. :)

  12. Your first haiku? Lovely. I always tell my friends, the ones desperately searching for love, "Just sit and rest awhile. Let love catch up to you." It's the same with the Creator. This captured it, perfectly. Amy
