Haiku Heights

that sinking feeling
at dusk always missing you
a painful dull ache

footprints in the sand
washed away in the king tide
forbidden feelings

sand through my fingers
no substance at all really
dusk turns into night

  8. A sad, yearning, beautiful set of haiku! "Forbidden feelings" suggests that perhaps there is quite a great deal of pain beneath the surface!
