I relate too well to this! Now that the season has changed on my love, I avoid the cafe where we spent so many hours I love the place but it makes me too sad.
This is sas and reminded me of my very first broken heart. Anyone recall the Troggs?
Last Summer It was a day like today when I met you The sun was shining down on the sea I held your hand and whispered softly You are all the world to me But that was last summer and I wish it was last summer now
We strolled along the beach in the moonlight Throwing pebbles into the waves Little things like this I remember How I love those lazy days But that was last summer and I wish it was last summer now
Funny, I can still connect with that pain even though its over 50 years ago. First love, eh. Do we ever really forget?
Well, that pretty much nailed it. Nice memories of summer though.

I Can't Control Myself
Love is All Around
Night of the Long Grass
These tunes corrupted a generation of British young women. I know this because I was there and took full advantage!
Well, actually, I was 13 years old - so it was 47 years ago if we must be precise. 'Twas poetic licence!
