Claudia's bathroom prompt at dverse
Sunday
it's raining
it's pouring
the old man is snoring
6 o clock in the morning
open the blinds
make the tea
snuggle up in bed
all day
and puss makes three
_s%5B1%5D.jpg)
bathing together
was fun in the past
when we were young
adventurous and
much more lithe
now the bathtub would
need to be double its size

tis now a ritual
taken alone with bubbles
candles montrachet
and vogue
muscles all soaked in
radox and foam
lemon verbena and thyme
and a nice glass of wine
Yes, I find that snuggling up to a warm pussy in bed is a sure fire way of taking one's mind off the weather.
ReplyDeletevery nice.
ReplyDeletei hear you on needing a bigger tub...though last year on vacation the place had a huge tub...alone or together, the tub can def be a relaxing place...
ReplyDeletelemon verbena and thyme
ReplyDeleteand a nice glass of wine...ha nice...and yeah..most bath tubs are def. not made for more than one person..even though it would be nice..
what a fun romp through the prompt.
ReplyDeleteThis made me smile! A bathtub for two only works well in movies. LOL.

DeleteI like the soaking up in the bath tub with candles, foam and wine ~
ReplyDeleteHa. Indeed we need bigger bathtubs .. I still recall when the tub was a pool.

A bathtub for two now that sounds delightful..but, either way I still find it soothing..but, two might be more exciting..enjoy your bath time.

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely comment !
DeleteWhat fun! You remind me of the baby time of my brother and I...I've got to get over there and catch that prompt!
ReplyDeleteof course, in Japan, they never stop bathing together
ReplyDeletehigh tech toilet power
That sounds like a little heaven on earth.
ReplyDelete...now that what made classic bathing really engaging... people these days are full of malice... ha... well my bath tub was designed to accompany only one medium sized human... smiles...
ReplyDeleteAll the fun of growing up. Amazingly, it's the same the world over. Bathing together among siblings is universal! Nicely Rallentanda!
ReplyDeleteHank
What an interesting tale you weave over something so mundane as bathing. Loved it. thanks for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteWell at least you can still get in and OUT of the tub - out definitely requiring limberness I no longer possess. I enjoyed this vicariously though. A lot.
ReplyDeleteYou need a nice house boy/man servant to help you get in and out:)
DeleteThank y'all for your very generous comments.
ReplyDeleteAh! hoe it changes as we grow and well so so do the dimensions of the feelings but fun it remains,, always!
ReplyDeleteThis was fun!
