Haiku Heights

Roa Dart

he paints road potholes
council think he's out to lunch
he saves many lives

she is out to lunch
hibernating for winter
please do not disturb

things have changed a lot
the days of the boozy lunch
a thing of the past

  5. Wonderful set of haiku on the theme x the painter would have a job for life in my town as the roads have masses of potholes in following a very wet summer last year and hard frosts in the winter! Loved your haiku x

    1. Thanks. Poor Roa Dart has given this voluntary job of risking life and limb away.It is also illegal here to deface council property even if it saves cars and lives!

  6. We need more people of that kind, to work on our potholes here!! :D There are more potholes on our roads, during Monsoon time or otherwise, than there are roads!! :D Enjoyable and all good humor here!!
