Musical Chairs Huzzah!

3 WW

yoo hoo
i'm back!

the rumours
that moi  (Kevin Rudd )is
yesterday's man pfft
just propaganda- garbage

it is imperative that
you the Australian people
vote for me

and you know what-
pass me a hanky Mr Albanese

i promise - no more
smart arse women
wearing short jackets

this idea has some traction
with the fashion industry

they go back to serving
in the tea rooms
where they belong

you know you can trust
what i say
(chortles sniggers and guffaws)

if you don't vote for me

you will  get Tony Abbot as a leader

the labor government  promises
that every gay will receive a boat
as a wedding present
when i introduce the same sex marriage bill

so vote for Kev
Queensland's Golden Boy
Made Good (now and then)

  4. The vanity and foolishness of politics made explicit. Brilliantly put. Can you make the counter argument for why politicians are necessary (if they are) in next weeks threewordwednesday?

    1. Good politicians are necessary but that appears to be an oxymoron...next week? A bit too serious pour moi... why don't you give it a shot?:)

  5. Shush! Don't you know the people get the government they deserve. Do we deserve any of those on offer? Oh yes, I get it. It is our fault so we must cast an invalid protest vote to not approve of any of them!

(p.s. Voting is compulsory to all registered voters in Australia.)
