this is a problem
that a lot of people have
face reality !








hours fly by quickly
the sands of time do not wait
for any person

    1. Cuckoo clocks and red geraniums remind me of Hans my ski instructor. We used to sip schnapps on the chair lift to calm my nerves :)

  10. Nice photo used to accompany this poem. The truth of your words manifests itself in the wrinkles around my eyes, the wisps of grey in my hair but, also, through the wisdom I accrue as those grains of sand fall. It is not all bad, growing older. :) thanks for sharing such a good poem.

    1. Time is a peculiar thing...I do not understand all the cosmic physics associated with it but it is fascinating. . I have known you for three years..it seems much longer ( I say that in a nice way:) Incidentally if that is your new car I am so so jealous but am happy for you !

    2. It is my new car - well Carol's and mine - and its a little beauty.

      The French interior grabbed me. And the design is fabulous. A cross between a Mini Cooper and a Ford Sierra. Both desirable cars in my youth.

      I feel 20 years younger driving it.
