ReplyDeleteHe sounds like a wise hound...just like his owner ;)
ReplyDeleteSurely hounds like this have 'carers' and not 'owners' ?
DeleteCuriously we had a dog just like this when the children were young. He even went to school one day dressed in a school uniform!
ReplyDeleteA dog who dares to assume his own peculaiar identity and is comfortable about it. And an owner who tunes right in. Love it.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cutsie dog!,, love your poem!,,
ReplyDeleteHow very non-judgemental of you and such unconditional acceptance.
ReplyDeleteWould you ever consider adopting a cantankerous, argumentative extinct old bird?
NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DeleteWhat about a busker from Durham then?
DeleteOh...OK, let me think about it!
DeleteYou are missing the farm I see. If it does not reopen you are going to be at a loose end. I hope it does for your sake .
This made me laugh so much. Who wouldn't warm to a pet like that? You've a good heart.
