The metaphor I see here is of a lovely woman, who like a butterfly exudes grace and beauty. And, of course, the butterfly is so beautiful.

I keep a lantana on my deck, and have a bunch of butterfly pictures, but I've never managed a monarch. They are great subjects for metaphor. I have a weakness for haiku too, so I really enjoyed this.
