Heeding Haiku With HA

Shades Of Kerouac

 Jack Kerouac

mindlovemisery's menagerie

his eyes on fire
over the moon to see her again
she'd forgotten his name

looking out the window
on a moonlit night
he watches the break - in

she hugs her pillow
eyes shut tight she prays
to forget him

double malt
the clink of ice cubes
his favourite music

  1. How terrible to forget he name of what/who you love/d maybe they are in the things we remember about them...double malt and ice..what a tender love poem Rallentanda - love often having a shadow which makes you want to hug that pillow tighter and tighter

  2. That last one in particular could easily have been attributed to Kerouac. Great job. :-)

  4. What a great series here!
But the first -- ouch, so painful --- but such is life sometimes, sadly.

    Awesome!
