Win/Win For Zero





frantic deeply absorbed
3WW : Mindlovemisery's Menagerie


zero  feels deeply
sees keenly the ugliness
in the others

becomes
the designated whipping boy
of the popular self absorbed
A List uglies

the zero must find strength
maintain a rich interior life
or perish under the onslaught


never a joiner in the frantic rush
climbing the ladder to nowhere
he just hopes for the experience
of being that special someone
for another someone


if it happens
no one can enjoy the win
as much as  Zero

if it does not happen
Zero wins anyway
Touche !

    Why, this impinges on a universal truth! But, addressing the Jae Rose comment, can a Zero exceed the sum of it's parts? A zero-sum game? I'm disinclined to be so persuaded. That being a general statement, to one side, I am quite entranced with your reconstruction of the unfortunate Zero's world. Nicely done Sir!
