what i have learnt
and
all i know is
happiness must never
be compromised
if it presents itself
in whatever form
grab its little tail
before it slips away
it doesn't visit often
all i know is
happiness can be found
in the quality
of the moment
at this moment
i am in love
at this moment
i feel blessed
at this moment
i feel gratitude
to be able to marvel at
the stunning beauty
of a pale pink and winter grey sky
on a cold still winter's afternoon
by the warm glow of a fire
with alfred and franz

That's an interesting point.. living entirely in the moment does take away largely the need to compromise.

ReplyDeleteHappiness is where you find it. Often unexpectedly. And seldom when or where you look for it. Good music and warm fires are a great start.
