Friday Afternoon

a grey friday afternoon
on my way home
from the weekly shop
stopped to feast my eyes
food for the soul

i cannot remember when
the little sail boat was not there
ever present
ever moored
for decades

no one around
this view all to myself
and in that rare moment
i found a delicious peace
wearing a smile
the expanse of the bridge

  4. Sydney is always fascinating isn't it? Especially when you get slightly off the beaten track to be entranced by what you find.

    1. Yes it's a knockout...but it does not stop rapacious developers from trying to destroy it....
