I read that book. Such a haunting memoir. What an amazing display of strength of will and generosity of spirit. And I agree; the angels walking among us are indeed rare. -B
Adversity will bring out the extremes. We can never know for sure how we will react until, God forbid, we are there. Resolutions made in comfort prove little. Viktor was quite an inspiration. Someone special gave me a copy of that book.
