Home

your warm chest and heart
is my only true home
a safe place to be

mouse house teapot house
everyone should have one
a simple safe life

swimming in a storm
unsafe dangerous stupid but
exhilarating

it is not safe
to be near temptation
too hard to resist

(cctv footage)
Jill Meagher murdered on her way home  2012

not safe for women
to go out at night alone
sad sick society

a safe childhood
taken for granted by most
the greatest life gift

  5. This was quite heart wrenching especially the Jill Meagher segment as that video footage has stayed vivid in my mind all these years. Sadly the punishment meted out is never sufficient to deter others.

  7. WOW...your particular brand of creativity is quite unique...I greatly enjoy it. And what a haunting image of the young woman, totally unawares in her last moments. Shivers.

  9. Your micropoems are amazing. I truly felt the pain and wondering in the one about Jill Meagher. And I loved the first one!!!!

  10. I agree with Kerry! I also agree that
    'it is not safe
    to be near temptation
    too hard to resist'
    and
    'a safe childhood
    taken for granted by most
    the greatest life gift'.

  12. This is a feast. Love the stormy swim, especially right after the safety of a home.
