Pantry Poem

Painting by Lee Kennedy

little miss wren
started out  centre stage
with a bright background
time went by and
she gradually slipped
to the bottom of the canvas
soon to disappear from sight
her song
but a memory

    Let the wren be unended.
    So may we all.
