the phoenix
rises from the ashes
feathers burnt and singed
carrying the message of hope
above the devastation

we have been promised
the flames of hell
will not prevail against us

in the end
goodness will triumph
and the glory of the Lord
will be revealed

    I believe that. Goodness rises above all bad. And remembering that thought, I think, is strengthens the phoenix's wings.
