introduced for sport
by the tally ho hum brits
mid 1800s

devastation of the
native species followed
until this very day

they are in the parks
they are in our back yards
we can't get rid of them

they inhabit
the entire country
yes we've been outfoxed

  4. A fox was a frequent visitor to our back yard in my previous home. They are such beautiful animals. When I was a child, we had a jigsaw puzzle which depicted a fox hunt. I always rooted for the fox!!

  7. I think foxes are cute...but only in Europe; but they really upset the Australian wildlife. I hated seeing fox skins hung out on farmers fences in northern South Australia as a warning to others (I doubt if it worked). Poisoning them didn't help as their carcasses probably killed our native predators as well.
