Weekly Scribblings # 83

 tell me

that this geometrical precision perfection and artistry

of a nautilis shell was a random result of a big bang

along with all the other perfect mathematical design

creations in nature

 tell me

that a poppy unfurling emerging

from its green furry bud casings

dropping silently on to the coffee table

is merely a botanical phenomenon

 tell me

there is no magic in the fairy wren

it's all random

with everything having a scientific explanation

and now tell me

there is no God

  1. Well, I for one won't be telling you that. I agree that the wonder and intricacy of our Earth is neither unseen nor random.

  4. I can't, of course, tell you that there is no God, for I'm a believer too.

love that description, like the way the words kind of swirl out in a geometric echo of the shell, very well written
