Darlinghurst nightclub bans patrons from ‘staring at someone’ without
prior ‘verbal consent’ at popular Sydney venue Club 77. It is considered to be sexual harrassment. The club said “safety officers” in pink vests would enforce the staring rules.

Dear Rall, you have posted my all time all favorite most loved of Mr. Valli's songs! My son and I have seen "Jersey Boys" on stage three times .....
ReplyDeleteLucky Ducky ! I would love to see them live.
DeleteGood grief! Pink vests, eh?
ReplyDeleteWow, that is amazing. I had not heard of that. Political correctness meets paranoia? LOL.
ReplyDeleteThat is absolutely insane Rall! Maybe it’s time for sunglasses at night. https://youtu.be/X2LTL8KgKv8 We, as a species, have finally totally lost it. There is so much proof to support this. Maybe it’s time for the next extinction — though I hope it holds off for my 8-year-old grandson.
ReplyDeleteCan't connect to that address....Thanks anyway !
ReplyDeleteAmusing.. don't see how they're going to implement it - safety is priority of course, but you're right, there's woke paranoia as well at the other end.
ReplyDeleteFrightening to put it mildly. I think about Orwell's book, "1984" and "thoughtcrimes." We are on a steady march to it...
ReplyDeleteI was wondering yesterday if sex itself is sunsetting in human civilization ... what isn't drily sanctified becomes massively dark. It never goes away ... just deep underground.
