Micro Poems Friday Writings # 60

she fell for him
hook line and sinker
he was good
a master of seduction
knew all the right buttons
to press
caught her in a vulnerable state

 oh dear

i am yielding

to my one temptation

i know you are thinking it's you

way wrong

found my old cassettes

in a shoe box

thirty years of memories

so much

has happened since then

too much

in reality

 poverty does not bring

a lot of smiles

love is not

six  people plus two pets

sharing one bed  with

baby balanced on a milk crate

getting some sun

in the fresh air

before afternoon tea?

NO

i think not

Glenn Gould always loved dogs

left half of his fortune ( 36 million dollars)

  2. Lots to enjoy here. Your "one temptation" made me smile. Sometimes life gets down to basics and happiness is a sweet ice-cream treat.

  4. I love these. Especially "way wrong." LOL. Love that Glenn Gould left half his fortune to animal welfare.
