RWP 109 Wordle

It is not simply a question
of shouldering herculean
responsibility for some spoilt
elitist student with a fertile
imagination indulging himself
in a stoned drawing
of beer froth and chicken thighs
and then calling it art
This working relationship is
coming asunder
I'm not enthusiastic about
being the brunt of
undergraduate foolery

  1. Oh, the story and tone here are such fun... love the word weavings you have created...

  2. "asunder" has always been one of my favorite words. I like the rhythmic narrative you built from these selections.

    Tomfoolery, even.
I'd call it: The tutor turns.

  4. Yes like the worm! I though about foolishness and Tomfoolery but settled on foolery for the sound. I like inventing new words..like jaulaise..combo of jaundiced and malaise

  5. Rall dearest,

Your link at RWP doesn't lead to here, merely to your blog (Momma Cass at present), so there may be some who don't see these whimsical words. Clever and entertaining!

  6. from Therese Broderick -- A kind of Ars Poetica poem which presents what is NOT art. I am impressed by how the poem uses all the wordle words. I think the "beer froth and chicken thighs" drawing is akin to what we writers call the "vomit" first draft!
