  2. Hi Rall,

Strange that they were always pink! I know of what you speak but, fortunately, don't have to wear them!

  4. I'm pleased you are not wearing pink bloomers Derrick. It would spoil my illusion of you!

  5. Oh please no Lyn! I'll do the pin curls and the hair net but not the teeth.

  6. News flash! In some parts of the UK, where the north of England shades into Ultima Thule, "bloomers" are bread loaves, crusty, circular in cross section . . that taste the way bread used to taste when Granny was a Gal. Just thought you'd like to know that.

  7. Thanks I like this kind of local information.
So I suppose you will be buttering your bloomers for breakfast.

Is Ultima Thule the north of England's female impersonator of Uma Thurman?

  8. Oops! Bloomers (bread type) are oval in section, rather than circular. Sorry!
Ultima Thule (lit. "The Farthest Land") is how the English, particularly in the south of England, refer to Scotland. The Scots no longer paint their faces blue. They refer to England as "The Auld Enemy"

Good wishes, and as Arnie said . . . "I'll be back!"
