La Nina

3WW...deviant trivial miniscule

selfish siren
howling,crying
saturating the state

no one cares about
your suffering
wet love stricken grief
a deluge of tears
flooding the eastern continent

in the grand design
your heart ache
is a mere miniscule drop
in the ocean
you must learn to
lock away feelings
dry your eyes
expect no support

put on your dead
dusty scorching deviant
face again, breathe out dragon flames
until they beg for mercy
until they plead again for your tears

  1. This could have been written from a resident of Australia's eastern states. Dorothea Mackellar wrote a great poem "My Country" about how much she loved all of it including the flooding rains!

  7. Sorry to hear about the floods down under. But love your standpoint (hold the standpipe). Then we've got the solar storms to come next, and then... (Who are you calling a whinging pom?).

  9. "Until they plead for mercy" - very nice. A bit of a reminder for us all that what we banish today, we beg for tomorrow.
