not car horns, fog horns on the
harbour, i like it

it's Thursday morning
we are the leaders of time
and that's about it

it's thursday evening
i must prepare food

i would prefer to write

i will contemplate
the three positions of
predestination
while making the fish
and salad
before i go to theological
war with my religious nemesis
albert the convert

humourless
charmless devious
but encyclopaedic
in his knowledge of
ontology

maybe i'll watch a rerun
of bridget jones instead
and paint my toe nails
