Mary Ditches The Lamb

 you, can fly Mary
Painting by Judith Clay
dverse

you can fly mary
and where is your little lamb
left crying at home

is b for balloon
or b for big bad boyfriend
bonzo boy named b

you are flying now
but soon you will crash mary
b is big trouble

he's a heart breaker
b grafitti everywhere
wont make him love you

you can b balloons
tattoo bs on your body
fly sky b banners

it will come to nought
wear a hard helmet mary
you will fall head first

go back to your lamb
before it is too late dear
b bs are bad news

  3. That's the trouble with Mary. Notoriously contrary.

  7. I agree......life is often better with a lamb!! All Mary's would realize that. LOL.

    1. You know I was actually going to write a poem about you...but then not everyone gets my sense of humour...thought I wouldn't risk it...maybe I should have...next time perhaps:)

  9. You have me smiling here. Good advice for adults packed in a piece of whimsical, almost child-like verse.

  12. Mary probably got bored with her pure and spotless lamb following her everywhere and wanted a bit of danger in her life.

If I may 'lower the tone' of this very artistic and terribly serious blog for a moment, I have an observation to make. A transvestite's idea of a good night out is to eat, drink and be Mary!
