dverse...a conceit
the young fresh rose
soft petal'd and blush pink
has captured the desire
of the bruised
ardent horse stinger
knotting strands of gold
around her long elegant stem
after courtship
chaperoned by a gaggle
of black geese and hunters
she adorns white tulle and lace
pins herself to his lapel
till death do they part
That music is so haunting.

ReplyDeleteShock horror! :)
ReplyDeleteUnderstated but sensually so. (It was either a very short courtship or a very persistent bruise.)
ReplyDeleteIt was love and innocence .... for both it was murdered by the evil of men.
ReplyDeleteWatch the movies ... there are few better!
