La Bicyclette Bleue...Laetitia Casta
it has been over a decade
since i saw this movie series
at your parents house
while they were overseas
it was a starlit sky
in the murky brown of
your family home
grand gloomy damp and loveless
which explained a lot about you
my mother's blue eyes
gazed at me from the screen
and for the first time
i
unsettled
realised
what a beauty she was
something which had not registered
with me before
and says a lot about me as well
I don't know this film series, but can read the erotic in the barren landscape and the growing self image, a stirring beauty. A gorgeous poem.
