we frolic about
madcap cats
jumping for joy
and then
we trap ourselves
frantically
trying to escape
we destroy
the box
our joy is no more
a cat can never resist
an empty cardboard box
and the box
well the box lies in wait
death by pouncing and prancing
is its destiny
Help the cat. Put a flap in.
ReplyDeleteThe cat's already in a flap.
DeleteOnce walked past a box that our then cat was sitting in. It leapt, spread-eagled (spread-moggy?) straight up in the air, higher than the box and landed back in the box, in a fit.
ReplyDeleteNot surprising really....Just means the cat was overly pleased to see you ! :)
ReplyDeleteAre you telling me you don't behave like that when you get a surprise visit from someone you like?:)
DeleteNot QUITE so exuberantly, I must confess.
