Beautiful montage, though the poem can stand alone. It makes me think of the local child apple princesses of Upstate NY orchards, and then makes me sad for the passage of time that takes away the fat cheeks and flounces. Here the tree is a living crucifix, a hard workworker, healer and transformative spirit behind all its beauty. My 90 year old parents live on Apple Blossom Lane. Everyone ever dear to them is still near.
Your parents are blessed as is their family having them still with them.So many would like to be in this situation...everyone in the family living close to each other. Apple Blossom Lane is a great name..good title for your autobiograohy:)
