Bird On A Wire

This is a response to Grace's amusing post on dverse requesting us to write poetry to Brooke Shaden's photographs.This one is called

"The  Almost  Circus Act With Invisible Audience"

what these two dropkicks don't know
is that circus chick
is never going to fall off the tight rope
into the drink
despite both  their  attempts to unseat her

the invisible audience will have to find
a new act to drool over
this one is past its expiry date
